Graceling Review

Katsa has a special ability (a Grace) to hurt people or fight like no man ever could. Her uncle, the king, uses her as a weapon but behindhis back she uses her powers to help people. Suddenly her world is turned upside down when she is on a mission to save a prince and runs into a stranger that she can't help but trust. She lets this stranger live but soon he is at her court and she wonders if she had made a mistake letting him live. He could ruin everything by telling the king what she had been up to. Little does she know, this stranger is about to changer her life forever.
This novel is one that I had read in middle school and ended up re-reading recently. I honestly couldnt remember anything about the novel from the first time I read it, which was kind of cool. It was like reading it for the first time. It is a good book. I love books that are set in this kind of time period and getting to see our female herione kicking ass. I remembered why I liked it so much the first time I read it. There is quite a bit of romance in this novel which I think is important to mention for those who do not like romance in their books. The only major problem I had with this novel was that it is a rushed ending. We could have seen a whole other book with the things that happened in the end. If just felt rushed and didn't have the closure that I want from a novel like this. Overall though, its a good read.
