The Catcher in the Rye -

The Catcher in the Rye Review

From the first person perspective, this is the story of Holden Caufield and his battle with mental illness. After the death of his brother, Holden struggles with letting people close and seeing things for what they are. But through his story being told, he comes to the realization that he needs help and that he doesn't want to be lonely anymore. This is a slow but good read. You really get to see the way that mental illness effects Holden and the way he sees the world. A good read, though not my favorite.
